Video from HS - VHS 'Experiences'
Saturday, September 07, 2024This is a video I edited together after digitizing a VHS-C tape I had recorded onto from July to September, 2018.
I had found my family’s old VHS-C camcorder so I decided to bring this around too lol. Days recorded from include a friends birthday brunch, a cross country meet, picture taking before the homecoming dance, and various other moments of school/sport life. Set to the tune of “I love Sloane” by Delroy Edwards, first because I thought it was a fun song, and then because I felt like I had created a narrative to follow from what the people in the video were saying, and I thought that idea was similar to the Blonded Radio “Experiences” skit in Blonded 003. Tapes were digitized through a AV to HDMI upscaler, then into some shit ass HDMI capture card onto a USB drive. Edited together in Adobe Premiere, maybe. VHS insertion sound was not mine >_<
